XG drivers are tweaked to improve image quality and stability while performance may increase or decrease slightly depending on your system specs. A few XG registry tweaks include mods to the following:
Paletted Textures In Video Memory
Render Quality Flags
Target Flush Count
Texture Clamp Behavior
Texture LOD Bias
Use Cached PCI Mappings
Texture Memory Space
Downloaded Memory Space
UMA Fast Frame Buffering
Main 3D rendering
Area Anisotropic Filtering
What odin2free is saying is, within the post he linked, #2 has the XG Display.Driver modified INFs, you download the official Nvidia win 7/8 drivers, the modified Display.Driver INF files, Replace the XG files with the official win7/8's, reboot, disable Driver Signature Enforcement. Install, profit.
I would also like these drivers to include Windows 7 please. The 365.19 drivers show a definite loss of frame rate in several of my games.
Well then you can download the XG 365.91 Win7 package along with the original Win7 365.10...Extract them and copy paste over the .infs from XG 365.91 display driver folder to original 365.10 display driver folder...when asked to replace files click yes...only thing your control panel and monitoring software will report 365.91 but at least the tweaks will be present.
