Hello, I just bought an HIS IceQ Radeon HD 4670 1 gig AGP vid card, upgrade from an x1650 pro. The only game I have installed is Oblivion and I'm experiencing system crashes where the computer reboots while playing the game. It is video card related, the current drivers I have are AMD's 11.8. Any suggestions?

Ddi you do a clean reinstall of the 11.8 driver? If yes try rolling back to the 11.7 until the next one come out.

Stock speed for my cpu is 2.6 GHz, I don't overclock. Well, I tried different drivers anyway, your 9.11 legacy/agp's seem to work, but after an hour of playing crash then reboot anyway. I thought it was a driver issue, now I'm not sure. Oh ya, temps are ok, my cpu doesn't heat up at all, nor does my case.

Sry I meant GPU temps and clocks not CPU.

DOH! Um, according to ATI overdrive, 750MHz GPU clock, memory clock at 800 Mhz, temps under load I'm not sure, but idle around 40C.

update: ambient 22C
case 26C
GPU 59C, might as well say 60C
CPU low 40's under load

edit: looks like I may have been overclocked, put the gpu down to 500 MHz.

Me again, stock clock speed is supposed to be 750MHz, but I have zero fan control with this driver version, so when the card heats up after a while, there are artifacts, and depending on the game, grey vertical lines all across the screen then computer reboots. If I knock the speed down to 500 MHz, there is no issue but...well, its slower.
