Corsair has introduced three new power supplies, AX750, AX850 and AX1200. Each Power supply has a single +12v rail with 62A (744W) on the AX7500, 70A (840W) on the AX850, and 100.4A (1204.8W) on the AX1200. These are all 80 Plus Gold certified, meaning they deliver over 90 percent efficiency at 50 percent load.

The new line features a fully modular low-profile cable set and come with a single 20/24-pin ATX connector, two 8-pin CPU connectors, and a single floppy connector. The AX750 adds two 6+2-pin PCI-E, 12 SATA, and eight 4-pin connectors, while the AX850 ups the ante to four 6+2 pin connectors. The flagship AX1200 features six 6+2-pin, 16 SATA, and 12 4-pin connectors.

The AX750 and AX850 are newer Seasonic-based designs. The AX1200 is a custom design from neither CWT or Seasonic. Reviews should be forthcoming, but the AX1200 is a rock solid product in our internal tests. We have been designing this product since the HX1000 launched - and now it's ready to go.

Here is an early review of the AX1200 from hardware.no, courtesy of Google Translate.

Expect availability in July!

Ooooh.

The AX1200 will be my next power supply once my new HX1000W dies. Which won't actually happen for a while though *I hope!*

My HX1000W needs to be replaced so I think I will replace it with the AX1200

Dammit, this crap always happens right after I buy my parts. Oh well, I'm happy with the HX850. Guess I'll have to settle for silver Razz

Even the previous series was quite nice and 80+ gold cert is always a good thing.
As long as I can keep my hands off SLI I should be fine with my sub-500W passive PSU though Smile Never thought it'd work so well but it has been solid as a rock so far.
