So now being in tech school for 3 days now i purchased a toshiba satilite.
here are the specs
AMD X2 Tripple core @ 2.2 ghz
4 gigs of DDR3 1066mhz ram (Upgradable to 8 gigs of 1333mhz ram)
low power GPU is a HD ati/amd 4200
High power GPU is a HD ati/amd 5650m
the HDD is a 320gig drive.
this laptop's total cost was 749.00 and it was worth every penny.
I installed crysis on it and it played max settings no aa but still daumn.
I am so impressed by this laptop, plays any game i have maxed out in rez and in AA with all details.
Absolutly having a blast with the game Fallout New Vegas, and Front Mission Evolved.
Front Mission Evolved is my favorite game at the moment its Such a fast paced Mechwarior like game and the controles just flow with the keyboard or joystick or what ever else one would use for this type of game.
I hate to be a AMD ATI neiwb.... but i need to find decent drivers for the GPU etc.....
any thoughts on what the best driver is im compleatly lost for ati...
been a NVIDIA Fan boy but their laptops were excesivly out of my budget range. _________________ CPU: Intel I7 960 @ 4.1, H2OCooled

i tried the latest betas and their running ok.. just not sure if this is what i should be running... dont plan on using AA i can for older games that have optimized engines like L4D2 etc but for the newer games such as Gothic 4 i just want a performance driver. _________________ CPU: Intel I7 960 @ 4.1, H2OCooled
