damn board sounds sick but i am not willing to order new ram and a new board with the new nehalem cores being right around the corner needing a new board anyway i just picked up this x48 dfi board and this time i am gonna fight the urge to swap it out

Ya i want to upgrade my stuff right now but I'm waiting for the Nehalems/bloomfields to come out and ill get new ram and mobo then as well.

Wouldn't rush into it - you'll need low voltage ddr3 if you want any overclocking out of your nehalems Sad

Ya im starting to think maybe wait until the 2nd generation nehalems come out and just upgrade to the mobo in this thread and a quad core 9650 with some nice ddr3 meory but im not sure what to do. Should I wait or upgrade now?

That's exactly what I did! Except I went with The Striker II Extreme. I'm not biting til the dust settles a bit on Nehalem.
