small tweak request, would it be possible if you could disable the context menu and the tray icon? i find myself always disabling these after i install a driver. the nvidia cp is convinetly located in the windows cp, so you can still access it.

I can look into that

I finally get to test this set, and it lagged on me like never before.
I got uber pwnage low FPS so low, I can't even describe it. BTW, my GPU's a G72, damn bad.

Tested in F.E.A.R., TrackMania Nations, CellFactor, Half-Life 2 with the same settings as I always have them on.

We tried to put this driver on Beefy's machine last night. The install went through just fine but he could not get any picture at all in several games he tried. So I had him try the stock Quadro driver. Same thing. So we know it's not the XG tweaks causing the problems. I just had him roll back to the XG94.24 and now everything's kosher.

His card is a 7950gt btw.

might have to take a look in the release notes to see if there are any known bugs with the 7950 and this set

For what it's worth I successfully installed these in Vista64. Running 7950GX2.

Thus far performance and IQ (my perception) is very good.

installed on my 7950gx2 on xp pro fine, seem much much faster in two worlds, really smooth, prey seems to be about the same as 92 xg drivers (sorry i think its the 92.42) maybe like 2fps less but IQ is much much better. The transformers game runs well, lost planet is also a lot faster than the 92 series, (still bad lol), Colin mcrae dirt seems a bit slower not had chance to do a test yet, my old 3dmark score was 8208 in 3dmark 06 with the xgs 92.42 series driver, so i will try another test later tonite with these new drivers and report back any change.

So far these seem definate keepers, especially considering i play 2 worlds more than anything else, the iq blows me away.

Not sure where to find the demo sorry, its a good game, bit boring sometimes and has quite a few bugs, performance isnt always great, and yeah is uncanilly like Oblivion, seems bigger to me though, more places to explore.

With these new drivers i get an extra 72 points in 3dmark, aquamark has decreased lol, but its always done this when i get higher 3dmark scores Wink

Does anyone know how to get test drive unlimited up to a decent fps?, mine is 28-33 but it seems sluggish.

Looked around for u and i cant find a demo, seems to be only trailers available, maybe someone else will know where to find one.

I'm new here, just found it looking for drivers.
My issue was I was playing games, namely Ut2k4 rpg mod, (wich I am addicted to really bad now), but I had been useing the 93.81 driver set, and at first I was fine, and everything ws fast, but as of the last month or so, things like gradually degraded, so it finally got where I was playing a map and was so laggy that I couldn't even get into the fight, so I was curious, and went roaming around for drivers, and happened upon this sight and thought "why not, lets give them a try"
Well I found these, put em on, and to my surprise I booted back and had very noticable increase in speed and snappiness (<--if that's a word even), but thigns were looking good. I then went into UT again, and after haveing to turn everything down 1024x768x32, and still couldn't play previously, I got back in and found to my very pleasent surprise, I can now play with everything maxed again, all settings on, 1280x960x32, and smoothly.
I want to say thankyou to the driver person for giveing me playable game play again.

only that i do have 1 game that doesnt like it to well, but it is stilll playable "Vegas" it is not the best game as for performance goes but it is not to bad. but i do now STALKER likes this driver very well. so i am a happy camper to Mr. Green

one game that every driver seems to hate for me (Well 2 now) is test drive unlimited, 30fps but feels sluggish and the insufferable pos flight sim X looks awful and i get 15-30fps id understand if it looked good lol. Why does it happen when more and more games come out that look rubbish but need beast of a pc to run.

It seems to be the overuse of the new shader model is making newer games lagg. Even on dual 8800's I still have to kick the shadows down a notch in newer games like Lost Planet and Call of Juarez to get decent frame rates in 1080.

I for some reason was haveing issues in graw2 for some reason.
Specs are:
BFG 7800GS OC AGP
Intel P4 prescott 3.0ghz
1 gig (2 x 512) corsaire mem

Now I do know that this isn't a fantastic setup, but I do know that it still is no sloch by any means, it actually does well still in alot of things....not as good as a core2 and more mem and 88xx card, but it holds it's own for being as old as it is.
Every game I play at at LEAST 1280x960, MOST I can play at 16x12, everything maxed. I chose 1280960 in ut2k4 not because I can't play at 16x12, just it leaves more room to breath, and deals with some serverside lag when you lower the details and res and such.
However graw2 is the ONLY game I have issues with. I have since taken it off my machine, but I may just install it again and try with this driver set to see what happens, although I won't hold my breath, considering I persoanlyl think the game itself has issues, because I've read on numerous forums, that people with core2 and 88xx card get really bad fps as well.

http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb302/Alphay2k/game_set.jpg

http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb302/Alphay2k/bridge.jpg

http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb302/Alphay2k/Camp.jpg

Those are the settings I used, and the fps I got, as you will see, it's pretty horrible.
I have tried numerous hardware updates for my system, many many driver sets, enabled, and disabled settings in game, and in drivers, yet I still get the same effect.
