Ive been using SP1 with ages now without any problems. It isnt too hard to find instructions on how to download SP1 through windows update. _________________ Case : Corsair Obsidian 800D (Want to change this for a quieter case and a bit smaller)

i had no problems. i had to uninstall the beta first. but it installed in about 40 minutes and half of that was the uninstall of the beta sp1. it works fine for me. it seems to have fixed a glitch i was having with media center and my tv tuner prior to this sp1 rc1. the tuner would mess up unless i started media center at boot and turned on the tv right away. if i waited it would lose the tv signal. it would say that the tv signal was low and id get a black screen or studdering. _________________ Processor: I7 960@4Ghz Mainboard:P6T deluxe V2 Memory:6Gb G Skill 1600@1678 Readyboost:8Gb 2.0 Graphics:KFA2 GeForce GTX 670 EX OC, MSI 460GTX TWiiSOC Driver:310.90 x64 Power:TT BlackWidow TR2 RX 850W Storage:Corsair F120ssd, 4x 1.5 TB Sound:Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium TvTuner:PC150-U Monitor:2xAsus VK266H 26inchHD 1920 x 1200 OS:Windows 8 x64 3DMark 11 - P8657

I just hope they will release the final soon
Don't really like the idea of installing a RC1 and have to uninstall that one prior to installing the final. _________________ Would You Kindly?

Ouch! I remember what hdd speeds were like when I first installed Vista - I thought I hadn't installed my sata drivers I'm really surprised they've not sorted these issues, particularly considering this was supposed to get Vista up to scratch for Server 08... _________________ CPU: i7 860 @ 3.8ghz (Corsair H100/Noiseblocker M12-P)
