well not manually just the Auto thing this board has in bios. It starts up fine though and then you can move the mouse click things and maybe 10 sec into windows it freezes.
Then i restart the machine manually and it works fine without freezing _________________ CPU: Intel Core i7 2700k w/ h2O

Psu or hard drive may be faulty or could just be a loose connection.
That doesnt make sense if the pc works after second start just fine with no hiccups. _________________ CPU: Intel Core i7 2700k w/ h2O

Turn off auto OC...voltages are prolly messed up. You using all of the ram slots? Run memtest. _________________ Intel i7 3930K | Corsair H100 | Killer Nic Xeno Pro

Memtest ran fine as thats what i thought it was... i will try the auto oc crap but i am kinda thinking it is driver related or something.. might be the AI Suite from asus or something in the autostart up but that doesnt add up either as the second time everything is fine. _________________ CPU: Intel Core i7 2700k w/ h2O

Update the bios.
I builded 2 1555 rigs and one am3+.
All default efi bios versions just suck bawlz.
Asus wont boot properly
Gigabyte am3+ freezes at post every second time.
Asrock needed 30 seconds for passing the Post screen.
After i updated the bios all boards run flawless.
just load the newest bios and use the bios tool.
and dont use auto oc or these oc tools anyway. Your cpu already have an open multiplyer. _________________ ______________________________

100 bus x open multiplyer
Use the multi dont touch the fsb !
should take you 5 seconds to change that.
its all you need to do + checking if its stable _________________ ______________________________

Revert back to default values in the AI Suite, hit Apply, restart comp. and go in the BIOS and load Optimized Defaults. Somebody said that some settings aren't changed back after the auto tuning what the AI Suite does.
I have the feeling that your rig has some memory related problem and the second time when it boots, some timings are reverted back to fail proof values.... _________________ Mobo: Asrock P67 Pro3 rev.1 1.70

I turned off auto crap and it was still acting up. But now i am running 48x100 prime stable at like 48 degress celcius at 100% load lol @1.4v havent tried to downt he voltage any yet or up it to get a 5ghz OC. I know the comp craps out at 49x100 at 1.4v. I will play with it more and i think i figured out the problem with my pc.
AI Suite uninstalled and now it doesnt freeze. I tried to just turn off all the start programs with it installed and it still froze. But now it runs just fine with it uninstalled.. Had the same thing that BF3 would crash when i had the gpu crap installed from asus.. the smartdoctor or whatever its called... Only thing i kept was the USB boost 3.0 and might install each suite app one by one to see which is causing the freezing. _________________ CPU: Intel Core i7 2700k w/ h2O
