DICE community manager Daniel Matros has been answering questions about Battlefield 3 on Twitter. Battlefield fan @bkohn1 asked him whether a rig matching the Battlefield 3 recommended system requirements would run the game on ultra settings. Matros replied to say that “recommended is usually medium.”
So will a top of the range Nvidia GTX580 do the trick? Apparently not. Matros revealed that we’ll need two 580s in SLI to make the most of the Frostbite 2 engine. The minimum system specifications may not be too punishing, but for those who want to see Battlefield 3 at its very best, a hefty upgrade may needed. Battlefield 3 may well be worth the expense. Would you be tempted to upgrade?

Btw: the new R11 patch for Bc.2 is pretty good imo , my reg became even more cheatlike an the rubberbanding effect is almost gone for me now. _________________ ______________________________

yes its weednam (on low -mid settings ), still too small ,poor designed maps with mostly too many players. (32 is just camp n teamstack-o-rama )
but me is a vet since bf1942 sir. so i played this bf light version also.
it took em 6 months to implement a hitbox.I hope bf.3 will do it better _________________ ______________________________

but its pretty useless now. kepler is coming soon anyway and a single 580 isnt much faster then a 460gtx sc sli.
but its not my money , so just burn it for useless stuff my drug traders.
kepler wont make it till 2012 so he till got plenty of time to enjoy 580 and when kepler comes out it might be 2x or 3x times faster just add another 580 when the price drops then u can still play games wit 60 fps frames even kepler already out. that dont mean new gpu comes out u gotta get a new one when ur old one handles games fine and kepler is still dx 11 what u really want is MAXELL boom! wit DX 12. also the radeon 7000 series wit rambus ram is looking pretty good too i would like to see benches on kepler and 7000 series before buying a new gpu. _________________ i7 3930k @ 4.6
