It would be nice to see some comparatives between the generic driver and the hacked one to see if there really is some significant overall performance gain.
aznl3aka now that you have downloaded this modded driver, have you experienced any kind of issues/errors/bsod? can you please post your conclusions about this driver?
I own an acer aspire 4540, this is a radeon hd 4200 IGP based notebook.
As far as I know from the 10.5 mobility catalyst thread on this forum, it's supported but I'm concerned about the steps to get the AMD's cat mob 10.7 driver completely removed without leaving any leftovers on my hdd...

First of all thank you a great deal for these releases

Any plans to release another Mobile Catalyst?
I think the Mobile Catalyst 10.10 should be a great one. Some of the problems with 10.8/10.9 are resolved in 10.10 according to CatalystMaker/Terry.
Anyways, the 10.5 work great on my HD5870M.
+1 for that question Ziddy just asked
& also +1 for the fact is that your 10.5 Mobile driver are the only reason I didn't completely lose faith in ATI so I really would love to see a new release because im not planning on using normal ATI drivers anymore
