As I said, I had my share of ATI driver-related problems. Some friends of mine who I regularly game with have ATI cards and even considered going back because of drivers and software problems.
My review machine has an ATI card right now and I'm happy that I only need the card to produce heat...
I still don't get what a discussion about ATI or their drivers is doing in a thread that should have contained specific information about a single Nvidia driver... or why actual Nvidia cards should be crippled in a severe way. _________________ Intel i7 2600k | MSI Z77 GD55 | 8GB Corsair DDR3-1866 | Gigabyte GTX 670 | Creative X-Fi Titanium HD

(Four of these I would get the same FPS for the same price for less heat! of a GTX480))
I just hope the 6000 series will have a single slot for higher end cards
Also the next drivers are going to be 80% better than this one
Supposedly they are fixing the IRQ HD AUDIO bug
and the Black Screens on various options in the Control panel and stuff _________________

Great for you, especially with all those well-working Crossfire profiles. I still don't see what that has to do with this topic exactly? _________________ Intel i7 2600k | MSI Z77 GD55 | 8GB Corsair DDR3-1866 | Gigabyte GTX 670 | Creative X-Fi Titanium HD

Well if you want to hear optimistic news about your drivers...They will come out early 2011
They found a hitch and have to reprogram every thing and reproduce everything basically really weird how ManuelG joked about it lol _________________

To be honest I don't have any real problems with the games or applications I use right now.
Just today I discovered a problem with the unofficial DX11 mode of F1 2010 which luckily could be solved with the slightly older 260.53 Quadro driver.
The only real game I had bigger problems in was Bad Company 2, both micro stutter and low GPU usage since I got this card. The good thing though is that I don't play it anymore and that I will have the chance to test the upcoming MoH before its launch. If the combination of engine, card and drivers still doesn't work I can just cancel my preorder and concentrate on CoD instead. _________________ Intel i7 2600k | MSI Z77 GD55 | 8GB Corsair DDR3-1866 | Gigabyte GTX 670 | Creative X-Fi Titanium HD

Well good news

Maybe they make it in time for the open beta. I'm really curious whether this will be a good or a bad thing for Dice
PS: Went back and forth between .63 and .53. I'm sticking with .53 for now, it just feels better and smoother. I've been using the "enhance the application setting" option in many games and it just feels better with this set. _________________ Intel i7 2600k | MSI Z77 GD55 | 8GB Corsair DDR3-1866 | Gigabyte GTX 670 | Creative X-Fi Titanium HD
Is the 260.53 driver a better overall driver? Isn't that the one that Nvidia tried to remove from almost everywhere? I heard that it could possibly damage your hardware, any truth to that? Thanks.
That was the .52. .53 is a Quadro release. It works very well for me and my 470, I like it better than the "official" .63 version. _________________ Intel i7 2600k | MSI Z77 GD55 | 8GB Corsair DDR3-1866 | Gigabyte GTX 670 | Creative X-Fi Titanium HD

260.53 is smooth for me for the two or three minutes my games run for. It makes my games crash. _________________ Case : Corsair Obsidian 800D (Want to change this for a quieter case and a bit smaller)
