I'm very interested in using Ambient Occlusion for Elderscrolls IV Oblivion. I read that only these games profiles support Ambient Occlusion...
* Assassin's Creed
* BioShock
* Call of Duty 4
* Call of Duty 5
* Call Of Juarez
* Company Of Heroes
* Counter-Strike Source
* Dead Space
* Devil May Cry 4
* F.E.A.R. 2
* Fallout 3
* Farcry 2
* Half Life 2 series
* Left 4 Dead
* Lost Planet: Colonies
* Lost Planet: Extreme Condition
* Mirror's Edge
* Portal
* Team Fortress 2
* Unreal Tournament 3
* World In Conflict
* World of Warcraft
Seeing how Fallout 3 is based on the same engine as Oblivion, one would think ambient occlusion would work for both...

The only game I have successfully got AO to work with was FEAR 2 and it does look amazing. It shows a noticeable difference in COD but the performance hit was unbearable. _________________ Intel i7 3930K | Corsair H100 | Killer Nic Xeno Pro

I don't know of any way to force SSAO in games, and games that DO support SSAO, do so because they were designed with it in mind. I doubt you could get SSAO in oblivion, unless somebody ports it to the updated engine. And even then, it might look all messed up.
EDIT: Hmm, taken from tweakguides
"Nvidia has released the Beta Forceware 185.65 driver for Windows XP and Vista. These drivers are for the GeForce 9, 100 and 200 series. They add support for the new GeForce GTX 275, add an Ambient Occlusion option"
EDIT2: Upon using the 185.66 (updated 185.65) with Bioshock, I confirm that SSAO works. I get a 5fps impact, but I never though Bioshock could get more atmospheric - SSAO works. _________________ Processor: AMD Phenom 9850BE @2913Mhz (Lapped) | CPU-NB @ 2210Mhz

I think you have given very nice list becasue Ambient Occlusion supported games are not the bad deal but at the same time love to play the game. All are amazing also.
