i ve downloaded the beta sp2 today for server 2008 x64 and it was 494 mb. -.- release 113 or something like that. so i guess this release is newer,but the earlier 113 works like a charm for a beta here.

Interesting - I'm tempted to give it a go myself... I've ordered a 2nd 640gb Caviar for my system drive, so I could stick it on when I clone the current drive.

I gave it a test run, and it gave me neglectible performance difference compared to SP1, it also gave a few crazy things, like Hot-Plugging PCI-E devices, example: For my Wireless Card and Radeon HD 3650 in my ThinkPad Shocked

Well, Hotplug PCI-E capability is required by some situations, like those expensive $40k SSDs for database applications used by some businesses... Maybe not.
