ever since I installed the 180.42 driver I have a problem with 2142 when I take dmg my screen whites out like a flash nade.... any suggestions on what can be done to remedy this. It only happens in 2142 no other games. Previous driver 175.63. No problems. I love the improvements in quality I noticed right away with this driver. but alas it mean nothing if I get whiteout every time I get hit with dmg.

XP 32bit
Striker extreme mobo
2x 8800gt XFX Extreme in SLI (no aftermarket OC performed)
q6600 @2.7Ghz
2GB Dominator Ram CL3
Raptor hard Drive
Rosewill Extreme 850watt PS

Tried fresh install of the drivers.
Tried lowering all Graphics lvls to low in game.
Disabled Physics in Nvidia control panel.
only setting I changed with Riva tuner is gpu Fan speeds.

Fc2 runs very smooth witheverything at high at steady 35-40 fps cod4 well lets face it 90 fps almost all the time, only problem i see is i have to use riva tuner to acces fan controls with my 8800gts 640 mb version aside from that great driver.

Thanks a lot. Increased in Far Cry 2 from 20 FPS (178.24) to 50 FPS ( XG Forceware 180.42 XP) in average. Great job! Very Happy

This driver seems quite bad for Sacred 2 with my old 7900gs. Anyone has any idea what is the best driver for Sacred 2 Fallen Angel? Thanks

i'm havin lots of issues with these drivers, getting lots of blue screens randomly complaining about nv4_disp.dll, and with these drivers there is no fan tab in rivatuner any longer. so think i'll go back to older driver until fixed, sad since i really liked these drivers otherwise, great IQ and noticed big increase in fps

i installed 180.42xg here... and later 2 days testing in all my games... i see results... my performance dropped in all my games in comparison with 178.26xg... but in pes 2009 my performance is better... only in this game... i waiting for 178.46xg... i believe in better performance yet...
