What is the last 'official' driver for your rig? Does it have the same problem? _________________ Intel i7 3930K | Corsair H100 | Killer Nic Xeno Pro

The official driver is 86.63, but it's from like Jan 2008 I think. It does not have this issue, but obviously it doesn't work as well with newer games. Fallout 3 runs fairly decent, but gets pretty choppy at times. With the 177.92, Fallout 3 doesn't get choppy at all.
I don't know if it's just my particular hardware or what, but none of the newer drivers I've tried (the 177.92 from here or any of the most recent drivers from laptopvideo2go) work with sleep/stand by/hibernate (though I don't use hibernate, I did try it just to see if it worked).
It's just annoying to have to shut down the laptop all the time when it's obviously easier to just close the lid and put it in stand by.

This is a known problem on several different brands and specs of notebook manufacturers. We have seen this several times on these boards and the only fix (that I can remember of) seems to be to use the last official driver for your system. _________________ Intel i7 3930K | Corsair H100 | Killer Nic Xeno Pro

Thanks for the response. Guess I'll have to deal with shutting down the laptop all the time then. The old drivers are just that -- OLD! Can't really play any newer games with it so I'll have to make that sacrifice lol

The downloads will be back online soon. We are currently switching hosts so some parts of the site are still not working yet. Sorry for the delay. _________________ Intel i7 3930K | Corsair H100 | Killer Nic Xeno Pro
